Recognition by the German BSFZ confirms the technical complexity and innovative character of a fully automated production system for cell cultures developed by Labsun.
Labsun has received official recognition under the German BSFZ procedure for a fully automated production system for passaging and cultivating cell cultures.
The industrial system, developed and built between 2020 and 2023, combined robotics, process control, and structured
data acquisition in an integrated production workflow. The system was successfully completed and delivered for its intended application.
The recognition supports the further development of modular solutions for laboratory automation at Labsun. The experience gained in the project is now flowing into configurable platforms for research and industry, where repeatability, process integration, and traceable workflows are critical.
