The Herolab HiCen TR is a refrigerated benchtop centrifuge for larger sample volumes. Depending on the rotor installed, it achieves speeds of up to 15,000 rpm, an RCF of up to 26,790 × g and a capacity of up to 4 × 500 mL. This refrigerated configuration is intended for workflows in which temperature control is an integral part of the centrifugation process.

The HiCen TR is configured with the appropriate rotor, buckets, adapters and sample vessels for the intended workflow. Selection is based not only on speed and RCF, but also on vessel format, required throughput and the permitted rotor loading configuration.
