The Herolab UniCen MR is a refrigerated universal benchtop centrifuge. Depending on the rotor installed, it achieves speeds of up to 24,000 rpm, an RCF of up to 45,078 × g and a capacity of up to 4 × 200 mL. This refrigerated configuration is intended for workflows in which temperature control is an integral part of the centrifugation process.

The UniCen MR is configured with the appropriate rotor, buckets, adapters and sample vessels for the intended workflow. Selection is based not only on speed and RCF, but also on vessel format, required throughput and the permitted rotor loading configuration.

Speed, RCF and capacity values depend on the rotor configuration. To prepare a quotation, please specify the sample volume, vessel type, target RCF, temperature requirements and existing laboratory workflow.

RCF is the relative centrifugal force expressed in × g. In addition to speed, it depends on the rotor radius.
