The AutoEmpore Automatic Solid Phase Extractor automates the cleanup and enrichment of organic contaminants from large-volume water samples. The system is designed for drinking water, surface water, municipal wastewater, and industrial wastewater and provides a maximum sample-loading rate of 120 mL/min.
Automated inline filtration and water removal reduce manual steps and shorten sample preparation. Each channel can run an independent method, while two independent pump systems provide precise flow-rate control.
Product Benefits
- High throughput: Manufacturer specification for three 1 L samples: enrichment in 10 minutes and a complete SPE process within 30 minutes.
- Direct processing of raw water: Surface-water samples can be processed without upstream filtration.
- Low background: Very short tubing paths support workflows requiring low PFAS and plasticizer backgrounds.
- Flexible SPE formats: Compatible with SPE disks with diameters of 25, 47, and 90 mm and cartridges in sizes 1, 3, 6, and 12.
- Online water removal: Eluates can be collected after integrated water removal.
- Simple operation: Controlled through an app on a tablet.
