Recommended Workflow
For optimal recovery across the full SVOC range, use the 8270 Disk in a combined disk stack with two Empore™ Activated Carbon Disks:
- 8270 Disk on top — retains the target SVOCs
- 2 × Activated Carbon Disks below — capture polar and reactive compounds
After loading the acidified water sample, dry the stack, invert it, and perform reverse elution: first with DCM/methanol for the acidic/neutral fraction, followed by DCM/methanolic ammonia for the basic fraction.
