Pyrolysis converts suitable organic samples into smaller compounds for separation and identification by GC/MS. The CDS range covers routine single-temperature analysis, programmed thermal studies and specialist high-pressure or UV-assisted experiments. The Cryo-mill is a separate sample preparation device, rather than a GC sample introduction module.

Temperature-program capabilities depend on the instrument and software version. The required sequence, gas handling, sample geometry and GC/MS interface are checked for the proposed configuration.
