The Herolab HiCen SR is a refrigerated high-performance floor-standing centrifuge. Depending on the rotor installed, it achieves speeds of up to 20,500 rpm, an RCF of up to 50,743 × g and a capacity of up to 4 × 1,000 mL. This refrigerated configuration is intended for workflows in which temperature control is an integral part of the centrifugation process.

The HiCen SR is configured with the appropriate rotor, buckets, adapters and sample vessels for the intended workflow. Selection is based not only on speed and RCF, but also on vessel format, required throughput and the permitted rotor loading configuration.
